About the Company
Indu Builders and Developers is part of Indu Group – Bilaspur. They are into multiple businesses like Petrol pumps, Gas agencies etc., other than the Real estate. It’s a family business managed by three brothers. Elder brother Mr Shailesh Agarwal manages the real estate business. Bilaspur is a tier three city in Chhattisgarh, India. Its mission is to move from a typical individual house to 114 make people live in gated community projects. The thought is to improve the lifestyle of simple people. His dream to make a real estate development project in Mumbai, for which he spent three years in Mumbai, couldn’t be successful. He decided to return to Bilaspur and re-live his dream of becoming a builder and developer there.
Challenges
Mr Shailesh Agarwal had a land bank of 400 acres. He was starting his first project on 45 acres near High court, Bilaspur. He focused on selling plots and building row houses, whichever customers needed. He thought of making extra income from construction also. But he realised very soon that his properties wouldn’t be sold without marketing. He thought of making the 3D walkthrough to attract customers and contacted Weaverbird through his project Architect Amit Vadnere. He asked me to come over to Bilaspur. He sponsored the entire trip. It was another experience as I had to invest my time there, staying for a few days but leaving for Mumbai not before closing the deal
Solutions
The strategy was clear again. We helped him with Drone shoots, and that worked brilliantly for him. We realized he was very selective and had an excellent eye for detail. Landscapes were a significant challenge; we had to capture them effectively as it was the major challenge. Sometimes when the client takes extreme interest can also prove to be a hindrance on a lighter side. Still, we had to change, edit and amend frequently and the team was quite stressed out as selecting the trees and plantations was challenging. We realize this can happen with a few. Such challenges sometimes also help because they get the best out of us, creatively challenging us. It is a good problem to face as client satisfaction matters the most. Then the first wave of the Covid hit the project, and it went on hold for almost six months. Post that period; 116 he again invited my team to start. It was good to work on this project again.

And then, in the subsequent three months exactly, we delivered the project with a six-minute walkthrough, rendering images and many other 3D services. The client thanked my team for having kept the same intensity and consistency despite the project being exceeded beyond nine months due to Covid. This Covid period was one of the toughest for all as the pandemic affected many businesses besides the health of many. The client appreciated the team never lost control and kept their nerves till project completion without compromising the efforts and quality. Our relationship with the client was firmly established due to the extended execution period. We are already in talks for another fifteen acres as part of the second phase. We were delighted to know that our work helped his sales, and he experienced rapid growth. Eighty per cent of the project is sold out.
